Jorn and Reindeer, two men with one passion : The Round Table. Tablers who always smile, even if the reality isn’t always as simple as it looks like.
During their latest Belgian AGM, wished Reinier “The Reindeer” as we al know him, that on this special day for him (becoming National honored member), to present a special deed. He gave away what for a normal human looks like a regular cowboy hat, but for him meant much more, to his good friend Jorn, an always enthusiastic Tabler who he really admires a lot because of his unknown courage to fight against a nearly undefeatable illness.
And it doesn’t go about just a Stetson, but about a 6 jaar long International Table career. Some cover themselves with tattoos over their body as souvenirs of their different life stages. But with 446 non-statutary foreign visits, his body would be covered from top to toe. The solution was, with every memorable Table activity, to place a pin on this fantastic hat. With over 300 pins’ that go from Paramaribo to Bangkok and from Tallin to South Africa, this hat is a real collectors item. This all he just gave away as a matter of showing respect for Jorns’ life story.
Jorn found this a to big honor and decided to sell this symbol of Belgian Table history public true E-Bay. Just like it should be with a hart for Round Table, he decided to give away the amount to a social children project. In presence of our Indian friend Gautham, it became “Freedom Trough Education”. This program, masterly organized by round Table India, it builds schools for underprivileged children who also have human rights on education!
